John Franklin Carll Award

Eligibility Requirements

Prior to submitting a nomination, it is important to ensure that your candidate meets the eligibility requirements for this award. To view eligibility requirements, please click here.

International Nominations = Three Years

International nominations remain eligible for 3 years (if not selected as an award recipient). For example, a nomination made in 2022 would remain eligible for three years – 2022, 2023, and 2024. For this reason, you should not submit a new nomination for these candidates each year as doing so will create a duplicate nomination and may render your candidate ineligible.

NOTE: Due to a change in our software, active international candidates with an original nomination year prior to 2022 were automatically reset to have an original nomination year of 2022. These nominations will remain eligible for a total of 3 years, including 2022.

Nominations in 2nd or 3rd Year of Consideration

If you would like to update your existing nomination in its 2nd or 3rd year of eligibility, please click here. If your nomination is still eligible, you may view and edit the nomination under the current program year (e.g., 2024 John Franklin Carll Award).
